Hello Beautiful Ones,

 

I hope you are well.  I have just returned from 2 glorious months (January & February) in South India. While I was away I found deep relaxation, joy, flow and compassion, by allowing myself to slow down and drop into pure beingness. I am now back in Toronto with a greater sense of peace and ease, and I look forward to sharing my new shiny-ness with you.

 

Please come dance with me as we weave love, healing & community, together, for personal and collective wellbeing and bliss.

 

I hope to see you at the Spring Equinox Ecstatic Dance on Saturday, March 20, and in my new 6-Week Series, 'Unfolding', running from Saturday, March 27- May 1. 

 

Also, I am excited to say, in the spirit of community, the new Sundays with the Muse Spring Series is now a pay-what-u-want event (like the fall series). I so look forward to seeing you there. Please tell all your sisters. All are welcome!

Spring Equinox Ecstatic Dance for ALL (men, women & children) 

Saturday, March 20, 2010  2-4pm
Dovercourt House, 805 Dovercourt Rd., 3rd floor, Toronto $13 (kids under 12 free)

No experience needed, only a willingness to move, and be moved.
Come with friends. Drop-in whenever. No registration needed. 

With less direction than a DOWH workshop or series; there will be an opening circle followed by a long, visceral musical set (soul, global funk, sacred chants, ambient, electronica, women's voices and more) designed to liberate your inner dancer. We'll end in a simple prayerful closing circle.

Sundays with the Muse Spring Series (7 Sundays of Pay-What-U-Want Workshops)

Sunday, March 21, April 4, 11, 18, 25, May 2, 16, 2010  2:30-5:30pm 
Dovercourt House, 805 Dovercourt Rd., 3rd floor, Toronto 

Sundays with the Muse Spring Series is a collaborative series of experiential workshops lead by 7 women for the enrichment of the body, mind, heart & soul of a woman.

 

Each 3 hour workshop is being created to take you on a journey, based on the 7 energy wheels or chakras, starting from the root of your being, upwards to your crown. Every delicious workshop will touch different realms of possibilities, from head to toe, heart to soul.

 

Taking the full series is ideal, however, if that is not possible, enjoy those you can, as each workshop has it's own stand-alone magic and healing.

 

Each workshop is valued at $50; however, you get to ‘Pay-What-U-Want’ at the end of each workshop, with absolutely no minimum and no maximum, and no deposit. This is as good as it gets!

'Unfolding' 6-Week Series (Core Series III)

After the dark of the winter comes the rebirth of spring, the perfect time to melt open, drop into peace, and blossom.

This new series 'Unfolding' will be the first series after Erica's return from India. Erica has come home to Toronto with a new depth of relaxation, beingness, compassion and joy. Her wish is to share this new-found bliss and peace with you in this 'Unfolding', through the DOWH practice, and the 6 beautiful invitations offered. 'Unfolding' will be a direct reflection of the magical and healing journey Erica experienced in India. Come be nourished and inspired each week in a safe and sacred space of dance, relaxation and guided imagery, in the warmth of a sweet circle of women.

Inaugural DOWH Teacher Training, Fall 2010, Toronto

Wednesday, September 15 - December 15, 2010 
14 weekly evening sessions on Wednesdays- 6:30-8:30pm
7 daylong sessions on Sundays- 11am-5pm

We invite you to join our growing community of Dance Our Way Home facilitators.

 

Inspired by the women who have expressed their wish to facilitate DOWH, as well as to deepen their inward practice, I am happy to say that my apprentices and I have been busy creating the inaugural DOWH Teacher Training Programme for next fall.

This unique programme will be rich in both practice and theory, guided by and drawing on a breadth of female experience in the expressive, spiritual, visual and healing arts. Engaging both right and left brain, body, heart and soul, you will develop the necessary skills and experience to facilitate this healing and sacred practice as well as deepen your own embodied exploration, regardless if you choose to facilitate DOWH or not.

In a holistic feminine way you will learn and develop your capacities to:

• Hold safe and sacred space for self and others. 
• Tune in, listen to, and trust your own intuition and the energies of individuals and groups.
• Create and lead guided journeys for relaxation and peace. 
• Weave the magic of Divine Feminine energies, earth-based principles and practices.
• Use inspirational materials and music to support the DOWH journey of transformation.
• Organize, plan and market your work in a sustainable way.
• Cultivate courage, passion and grounding to co-create joy, connection and community.
